Is the Safety Bar bought separately?

– Yes it is as a child of 2 1/2+ years doesn’t need a safety bar. For younger children and babies, a safety bar must be fitted to the chair to keep them safe, and a cushion will add extra comfort. The safety bar has two settings and can be pulled in around a small child or be left in the outer setting for a larger child. These two settings eliminate the need for a harness which can get very dirty plus can be a hindrance should the child choke.
