After 10 years Leander has released a new range, Linea by Leander and although the trademark soft curves are nowhere to be seen, there is no doubt that it’s a Leander: it is complete in its form and function, made of the best materials and has longevity both visually and practically.
Designer Stig Leander says: “The innovative design of Linea by Leander® is not an attempt to keep the classic and organic Leander shapes at a distance. Rather it’s a sophistication of what I love. Making design that matters.”
The inspiration came from the hour glass and is evident in the design of the change table, a striking piece of furniture which fits into any size nursery. Its angled legs led to the design of the cot, also featuring non-traditional lines and a story took form.
The story is now ready to be told and Linea by Leander will arrive into Australia mid-June. The range including a dresser is made from European beech in natural and a comprehensive series of textiles lets you accessorise it to your individual style and includes canopies for the cot as well as cushions and covers for the sofa.
