Bassinets & bednests

Bassinets, cradles, bed nests and Moses baskets are especially designed for newborn babies. As small baby beds they can be positioned close to your bed for co-sleeping and easy access during the night to feed and settle your baby. Alternatively, they can be located in different parts of the house, nursery or even outdoors as preferred.

For parents with co-sleeping in mind, a bedside bassinet with a fold-down or drop-down side is the perfect solution. This helps with bonding and attachment between mum or dad and the baby, whilst also keeping the baby safe in their own sleep space.

Bassinets may feature fixed legs, castors or height and angle adjustable legs as in the case of our Bednest. With the Bednest, the adjustable height and angle means you can set the bassinet at the height of your bed, and you can also angle the bassinet if the baby is prone to reflux. The bed component can also be used directly on the floor.

Other beds suitable for newborns include Moses baskets and soft, padded, fabric bed nests. Moses baskets can be positioned on the floor or on a fixed or rocking stand, the padded fabric bed nests may be used on the floor or on the mattress of a cot to provide a padded, cocoon-like space.

Bassinets, cradles, bed nests and Moses baskets are suitable for babies aged from newborn up to 4 to 6 months depending on their size and parental preference.
